About Laurence White

I started to offer consultancy services in 2007, after 35 years’ worth of REAL, hands-on, commercial experience working for REAL direct marketing enterprises small, medium and large alike. There isn't much that I haven't seen during my time in the mail order industry!

I have successfully started, managed, grown and sold my own profitable, multi-million pound home shopping company. And I have successfully built and developed a number of large customer lists, some from scratch.

I understand, and have experience in, most aspects of multi-channel distance selling. Not just in the UK either… I have international experience too, from Western Europe, U.S.A. and Australasia.

I have strong product sourcing and supplier selection skills, with extensive worldwide business contacts in the manufacturing, import, wholesale, trading, distribution, advertising, print, fulfilment, service and finance sectors.

I have strong catalogue management, content, layout, production and sales maximisation skills, along with a first-rate knowledge of off-page advertising and media planning.

I have a common-sense approach and always endeavour to give the client what they want. With my personable manner, I am able to communicate with customers, suppliers and colleagues at all levels.

Finally, I truly believe I have added value to each and every business I have ever worked for!
